Privacy Policy
Last updated: December 18, 2025
At Blizzard AI ("we", "us", or "our"), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our AI-powered virtual try-on service ("Service").
Summary: We process your photos only to provide the try-on service. Photos are temporarily stored and automatically deleted. We do not sell your data.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Photos You Provide
When you use our Service, you may upload or capture photos (selfies) for the virtual try-on feature. These photos are:
- Processed by our AI to generate try-on images
- Temporarily stored to provide the Service
- Automatically deleted according to our retention schedule
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
We automatically collect certain technical information, including:
| Data Type | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| IP Address | History personalization, security, abuse prevention | With try-on results (24 hours) |
| Session ID | Service functionality, rate limiting | 24 hours |
| Device/Browser Info | Service optimization, compatibility | Aggregated only |
1.3 How We Collect Your IP Address
To provide personalized try-on history (showing you your previous results), we collect your IP address through a direct connection to our servers. This is necessary because:
- Shopify's app proxy does not forward your original IP address
- Your IP address is used only to associate try-on results with your browsing session
- This allows you to view your history without creating an account
Your IP address is stored only with your try-on job records and is automatically deleted when those records expire (typically within 24 hours).
1.4 Information from Merchants
Our Service is integrated into Shopify stores. When you use the try-on feature on a merchant's store, the merchant may have access to aggregated usage statistics but not your individual photos.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide the Service: Process your photos to generate try-on images
- Maintain History: Allow you to view your recent try-on results within a session
- Improve the Service: Analyze usage patterns to enhance our technology
- Ensure Security: Prevent abuse and protect against fraud
- Comply with Law: Meet legal obligations and respond to legal requests
3. Data Retention
3.1 Photo Data
| Data Type | Retention Period |
|---|---|
| Uploaded selfies | 1 hour after processing |
| Processed/resized images | 1 hour |
| Generated try-on results | 24 hours |
3.2 History Feature
The history feature allows you to view your recent try-on results. History is:
- Tracked by IP address within each merchant's store
- Limited to recent results (typically last 24 hours)
- Deletable by you at any time using the delete button
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in these circumstances:
4.1 Service Providers
We use the following infrastructure to operate our Service:
- Cloud Storage: Secure cloud storage for temporary image processing
- AI Processing: Our proprietary AI image generation system
All data processing is performed on secure infrastructure with appropriate safeguards.
